How to Send Amazon Giftcards

A lot can go wrong when sending Amazon giftcards, from sending the wrong currency (rendering it near useless to the model), to accidentally sending it to the wrong email address. Here’s a step-by-step guide on how to send Amazon giftcards, to make sure that you get it right!

Step 1: Ask the Model What Currency She Requires

Many models (particularly those outside of the US) have known the pain of having a gift voucher sent to them in the wrong currency. If you live in the UK, and someone sends you a gift voucher in USD, you can only claim and spend that card on the American Amazon, Amazon.com. This means that anything the model buys with it will have to be shipped from USA, and a lot of the cash will be getting spent on shipping and customs fees! Make sure that you know what currency your model uses/needs. It’s a lot less of a pain to make sure you get it right, than having to try and deal with gift voucher refunds later.

Step 2: Make Sure You’re Using The Right Website For That Currency!

Obviously if your model is in England, and wants GBP, you’ll have to use the English/UK Amazon. If she’s in the USA and needs USD, you’ll have to use the American Amazon. Here’s a list of where you can find the pages to buy eGift vouchers across the various Amazon sites.

Step 3: Double and Triple Check the Model’s Email Address!

It can be a simple typo in the name, or accidentally putting .com instead of .co.uk! You should probably just be safe, and copy and paste the email address, even keeping an eye out incase the model has made an obvious typo (though she has probably double and triple checked!)

If you’re here because you already sent a gift voucher in the wrong currency, or to the wrong email address, you should be able to change the email address as long as the gift voucher hasn’t been claimed.

Regarding sending the gift voucher in the wrong currency, you should be able to contact Amazon support and have them refund you. You will have to advise the model not to claim the voucher though!
